Observation
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
The ski trails are in great shape even with only 6" of snow on the ground! The groomers have been patient and are being very careful with the base so they will be staying off the trails this week. But the trails are skiing great and the cold weather has helped solidify the base and classic tracks. Tracks are set on a handful of the interior trails. There are still a few thin spots out there but should be easily avoided. Keep doing your snow dances!

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
Late predictions of 5-8 inches never happened. Only got around 2 inches. Inner trails were combed which made for a nice ski. Still a thin cover however. Some of the more open trails were tracked. Some grass showing here and there but a definite improvement. Tubing hill was open and candle light snowshoe in progress as I write this.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, Rock skis ]
We received about an inch of snow during the day yesterday. Groomers went out and rolled in most of the interior trails. There are no classic tracks set at this time. Average trail base is 1-2" of packed in snow. Rock ski conditions remain with some thin and bumpy spots, and a few rocks in places. But overall, it's skiing very well especially on Base Loop, Tornado Alley, Survivor, Nosedive, Silver Strider, and Nepco's Cruise. We are now recommending all trails be skied in the correct direction - Except Nosedive Alley remains two-way. Please obey all trail signs. Thank you!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, Rock skis ]
We received 3" of snow last night! Groomers are out on the trails right now with the rollers and are working on packing in the ski trails. Trails are open to ski and we estimate the base to be about 1" so it is definitely rock ski conditions out there. There is not enough snow yet to set classic tracks. Base Loop, Survivor, and Tornado Alley are good trails to explore with low snow amounts. We are currently accepting donations to use the trail system.
