The Pisten Bully emerged out of hibernation today and the groomers set some classic tracks for the first time this season! Mother Nature gave us 3 1/2 inches of snow last night to play with. Trails are flattening out nicely and we’ve now got a 3 1/2 inch base. Grooming plans: Groomers are headed back out tonight and are hoping to get a long trail open for tomorrow!

The trails received an inch of fluffy "refresher" snow last night which really helped conditions greatly after a busy weekend. Trails are skiing fairly well considering the low snow levels. Groomers were out with the Yellowstone Drags the last few nights so the skate decks are starting to flatten out a bit. Trails are still thin and bumpy, so we are recommending rock skis still. No classic tracks have been set. Keep doing your snow dances!

What started out as rain yesterday ended as snow this morning! Today, the groomers were out rolling the trails for the first time this season (finally)! Trails are still very thin, bumpy, and rocks/gravel could be poking through the snow: definitely rock ski conditions. No classic tracks are set. The best trails for you die-hard skiers would be Base Loop, Tornado Alley, and Survivor. Fat Bikes are allowed on the Wilderness Trails and Breaking Free Snowshoe Trail only. We're looking forward to more snow. Keep your fingers crossed and Merry Christmas!
