Skate skiing at 14F, sunny. Yesterday’s 3-4” of lake effect snow was groomed up twice since yesterday early morning. Three Fs: flat, fast and firm. Deserves an E for excellent! About as good skiing could possibly be... no exaggeration!

Classic skied all the trails this afternoon once the temps warmed up to 14. Snowed off and on all day yesterday. Skate lane was groomed early so it was in great shape when we went out. Classic tracks were perfect. Great edge control on the hills. As long as they have snow, can always count on excellent conditions here.

As always, the grooming at Afterglow is impeccable. Plenty of snow and we received a couple inches of fresh snow Monday night through Tuesday so the conditions were perfect. Classic skied both in the morning and afternoon. Good control was possible on all the hills and the classic tracks were perfect.

Wow! What a great day of skiing! Pete groomed first thing in the morning after 2 new inches of new snow but despite weather forecasts to the contrary it snowed most of the day. Absolutely beautiful! The deck was solid for skating and the tracks were set on all the trails I skied. Grooming is consistently superb at Afterglow, always well worth the drive. Never disappointed.

Amazing! Faster surface than I was anticipating. There was fresh corduroy, perfectly flat deck, and sunshine greeting me. Thanks for the wonderful grooming Pete. I really appreciate it!
