Meander, The Pipe, Hammer, and parts of Rattler were groomed today. No track yet. Nice skiing. It is possible to ski down Storebakken (south side) but there is no runout at the bottom and the whole lower bowl is busy with snowmaking. You can use the access road around to get to the south part of Rattler and Hammer. B skis just because of some grass and occasional badger hole remnants.

The Pipe, Meander, and parts of Rattler were groomed today (no track). The skate deck is firm and mostly flat, nice skiing. There is grass showing in places on Meander and the Pipe, but no dirt or rocks except for a few spots where the badger has been working. There is no clear connection between lower Rattler and the top because of snow making operations, so the upper trails are best accessed from the upper parking lot. There was only one pass of the roller on Hammer.

Unfortunately the City crews have been busy making snow, and thus have only done minimal grooming. There is about.5 Km of groomed trail easily accessible from the lower parking lot. There is some blown in snow; no tracks. It is reasonably good skiing, but very short. There is plenty of snow on the ungroomed trails making for pleasant, classic bushwhacking. We are hoping the crews can get some more of the natural snow trails groomed soon. For now, better skiing can be had at Essex and Quarry Hill parks.
