Trail Reports

Reports 6 to 15 of 37    Month: Feb | Jan | Dec
Thursday, February 5, 2026
Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
The artificial snow loops are in good condition, though getting a bit dirty from the windblown dust, sadly. The classic tracks were recently set but are a bit squiggly or missing around most corners, so watch out for that.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
The artificial snow trails are all open and it looks like they must have been groomed yesterday based on the conditions. The falling and blowing snow have beat things up a little bit, but the classic tracks aren't filled in yet and it's better than the bare ground elsewhere! The trails are smooth, the groomer has done a good job getting things chopped up and smoothed out.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
The artificial snow trails are open, clean, and well groomed, including the classic tracks. Very nice skiing! They must have been groomed mid-morning because I was the second person on the snow and it was pristine. The natural snow trails are so windblown that it is down to the grass, but you can currently ski right from the parking lot to the artificial track if you want.

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle Scheduling
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
About as good as it gets today on the machine made loop: Solid and flat deck, full depth and firm track. Grooming equipment is back up and running after one new battery and non-gelled fuel today. Scheduling: there will be a high school race on Monday from 4 to 5:30 pm. There will be no classic tracks on the two - way sections on Monday.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
I classic skied around all of the trails and the track although it wasn't very deep was still good. It snowed while I was skiing. Skate trail looked like it was in good shape.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
The artificial snow loop is open and was groomed yesterday. It's a bit slow due to the fresh snow as of about 1pm, but clean, and both the skate deck and the classic tracks are not blown in or out. Lots of folks out skiing today!

[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
Great skiing today, surprisingly fast deck, nice tracks on the machine made snow trails. Natural snow trails have been rolled, but many spots lack adequate snow for decent skiing.

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
Skied the artificial loop this morning (before Jim's grooming, sadly) and it was in relatively good shape. Very slow from the fresh snow, but clean and the classic tracks had been pressed down by other skiers, clearing up the drifting that happened over night. Honestly, pretty nice skiing!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
Since the City groomers are not working tomorrow (holiday), RASC ran the Ginzu over the machine made loops at about 4 pm today, incorporating the new snow. Did not disturb the track which was in good shape. City groomers should be back Tuesday morning.

Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
Nice conditions on the machine made loop. The classic track is pretty good, though still set perilously close to the edge in some places. The City has added snow to some thin or dirty spots using a manure spreader. Great skiing, worth a drive if you need to. Typically groomed at 5AM daily.
