Surprisingly good conditions. Very good coverage overall, and a pretty firm deck, too. Some foot traffic on the trail, but the bit of wind was helping out with that. Much gratitude to the groomer for some fine work!

I classic skied Highland this morning. There were a couple bare spots when the trail ran over black top golf cart lanes, these were easily bypassed. Also you could see grass peaking out in a few places. The first lap this morning was a winter wonderland, the first time on natural snow all season! The classic tracks were good enough, not mint, but amazing for what we've had so far this season. The second lap the groomers had run over the classic tracks with the rollers, I assumed to remake them. If not, it's a shame as they were perfectly usable when I first went out.

Beautiful day at Highland National. Groomed a nice skate deck today. Be careful there is some exposed asphalt and grass. Overall in good shape. Unfortunately too thin to groom a classic deck. Enjoy the three day ski weekend!

Valentine's Day brought good fortune from the snow gods. Rolled Highland national today and planned grooming tomorrow morning. Hopefully the sun doesn't melt too much of the track this afternoon. Looks good now though get out there. Also, fat bike trail was groomed today.

Finally! Beautiful morning for skiing. There was a combination of manmade tracks and rolled coarse corduroy just being put down by the groomer this morning. Dust off your skis and get out ASAP.
