Firsthand: Both

A little ice was no match for Eric's PistenBullies this morning, leaving nothing but fantastic skiing in their wakes. No ice, not even particularly fast conditions, just average (great) mid-winter skiing!

Great conditions! Skied 10 miles on River trail, Jack and White pine. Very beautiful out there! The tracks are fast for it being so warm out.

As good as it gets! Fantastic grooming. No meaningful debris anywhere. Grab your race skis and go. We covered Blueberry Bluffs, River, Hautanen Highlands, Ridge Runner, Popple, and Peltonen.

Great, fast conditions today at ABR. Ignore the (lack of) Nordic Pulse grooming reports; this is definitely regularly groomed! Skate deck was very hard and a little skied off. There are just a few icy spots developing. The only skate trails I didn't ski were the dog trails, Ridge Runner, and Hautenen Highlands, but coverage is so consistently good everywhere else I'd expect these to be the same. Very little leaf litter or debris on the trail.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Crasher, Snow Cross and I did some touch up grooming today both with the Pisten Bully and light equipment. We opened up the Historic Trail so we are 100% open with 92 km of groomed ski trails. The trails are in great shape so we will give the groom team Christmas morning off. We are open 9-4 Christmas day as usual and you will find me in the ski shop mid day with my Santa hat on.

Pig Heart and Snocross were out in both Bullies again this morning. We groomed up all of the combination trails including Ridge Runner. Wide Track and Partner groomed all of the classic onlys except for Puumala. We have had a great start to the 2025-2026 ski season.

Grooming

What a great morning of grooming! We received another 2 inches of fresh snow overnight. Crasher and Snocross headed out in the Pisten Bullies to regroom all of the Combi trails including Ridge Runner. Wide Track and Partner reset track on all of the Classic only trails. I saw lots of happy faces when skiers started arriving at 9:00am.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
We had a full team of groomers out today grooming up most of the combination trails and all of the classics. The fresh 4 inches of snow really cleaned things up and made for excellent skiing. Grooming plans: We will have the full crew out again tomorrow morning to reset track and Pisten Bully the combis. Skiing should be fantastic for the weekend.

Observation
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Crasher and Snocross were out scouting the trails this morning. Conditions were too warm and wet to make things better so we let the trails be for the day. Skiers still enjoyed the trails despite the softer conditions.
Grooming plans: We plan to have a full groom crew in tomorrow morning to set new track and comb out any fresh snow.
