Fun skiing at Swedetown. Looked like about 5" of fresh snow. Skate deck had been groomed but was still fairly soft. No tracks set yet.

Probably an inch of fresh snow since yesterday. All trails but MUT loops and relentless were dragged. Skate ski trail conditions are nice. Classic ski track still not groomable until we get more snow.

Swedetown was great this morning, I can not say how much snow they recieved but it was enough to make it primo. About 2.5 inches of packed powder on a nice hard base. No tree debris or dirt to be seen, flat, no camber or bumpy trails. The tracks were not set but in a few places they were skied in. All trails were open except one. It would be hard to find a better place at this time to ski in the UP.

Very nice conditions! Fresh snow on top of a crusty base made for wonderful skiing. They had dragged the trails in the morning but there still some fresh fine snow on top making some awesome skiing.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
It was nice to see more snow overnight than was predicted and it continued to snow most of the morning. All trails were dragged this morning and are in good condition, especially considering all the recent warm weather.

No grooming will be done on our trails again today. We will be suspending grooming for the next couple of days and will not resume until we get some snow. If anything changes we will make sure and update our report to keep everyone updated.

Observation Scheduling
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We are suspending grooming again for today. Conditions have not changed and at time less is more. Anything that we would do now would do more harm than good.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All trails have been dragged this morning. Due to the freezing and warming and freezing again this condition is extremely hard to groom. I feel like we are doing the best we can with what we have to work with. Icy condition has been taken of for today so get out and enjoy.

Swedetown still has a good base. Trails were hard and fast this morning. Not groomed last night so challenging balance on trails closer to chalet. More corduroy further away. The Relentless had some avoidable exposed dirt on hill tops. Relentless and Pines trail and a few other places also had a fair amount of tree debris.

Observation
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Grooming has been suspended because of the warm temps and the snow is melting. But the trails are in pretty good shape considering. The new Relentless trail is iffy with leaves and other debris and there are a few other spots in the woods with leaves. No rocks showing yet so still good skis.
