Snow depth 11" with 3-4" base. High winds Friday gusting over 50 mph! Very good conditions on Lilly's Loop, easy 1.5 k after extensive debris removal and 5 passes by the groomers yesterday. Classic track is clean except for a couple of fir cone spots, B skis are fine. The other trails have leaves, needles and branches, as well as a few downed trees, and at this point in the season may not be worth rehabbing. Serious rock skis only but those other trails are not officially open. Photo is Lilly's.

High winds yesterday left a few trees and a ton of debris on the trails. Trail base is still workable with crusty snow on top of a hard base. Grooming today is partially done and Lilly's easy loop is now good. It took two: one throwing branches and raking ahead of the groomer. Classic track on that look is good after five passes to break up ice and crust. Classic tracks on other trails are full of twigs and leaves, need work. Lilly's skating is also good, other trails poor, pending further grooming. Photo is Lilly's by the chalet.

Excellent conditions, with 2.5" new snow on Tuesday. Snow depth is 13" and packed base 4". Classic track was cleaned up by the recent snow and skate lane is also very nice, freshly groomed. Temp today 36 when we skied, so it was a little sticky skating down sun-exposed hills of Eagle, but otherwise holding up well.

Excellent conditions both classic and skate. Only issues are old balsam needles the wind blew down, which affect the classic track in spots if you use wax. Trees blew their fir undercoat, you could say. There is also some porcupine debris on the base of the first hill on Lake. Snow depth is over a foot, 4" packed base.

We have excellent conditions again after 5 inches of new snow fell this week. Trails were groomed yesterday and again today with a nice classic track set along one edge in fresh skate lands. There is about a 2 inch soft base over 2" hard base. Snow depth 12". Snowshoe trails are beautiful.

Spring conditions are here early, as we had 41 a couple of days ago, then colder, up to 32 right now. Skate lane was all groomed by Neil yesterday, so trails are hard packed and crusty, but with a good grip for very fast skating. Lilly's easy loop is very good and mostly clean (photo). Lake loop is pretty good but hills are icy and a few spots are thin or have squirrel related debris. Classic track looks great but is glazed. Best skiing will be before it melts too much.

Excellent conditions continue on Lilly's Loop, others have a few crusty spots where the sun hit the hills yesterday afternoon. Snowpack and base has been cold, so trails held up well in yesterday's warmth. Snowpack depth around 11", base 3-5" and temp today is stable at 22. Minimal debris in spots due to busy squirrels cutting down cones. Trails are all firm and fast, and as our friend MP would say, "faster is funner!".
