Conditions are great at the Arb. Great track. Very nice skating. It was colder (4°F) than the day before and my skis were waxed for warmer weather, so my glide wasn't great. But the trail grooming and the Arb are the best.

Almost all the trails were groomed and tracked. Deepest classic tracks I have skied in a long time. A winter wonderland ski. Thank you groomers for all your time and work.

Most trails had been groomed and tracked Wednesday morning. Cold temps made the new snow firm up well for a solid skate deck and tracks, but also made for fairly slow snow with plenty of kick. Northstar loop last groomed Tuesday afternoon so some fresh powder over the grooming.

Some trails packed and groomed today after more than a foot of powder. Grooming concentrated on trails to be used for school races on Tuesday. Track set on the race course trails. More grooming planned after races wrap up Tuesday evening.

Trails were rolled today, it was a beautiful skate ski day. Little debris, it was as good a day to skate skis as it gets.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
The trails were rolled that had been groomed before. The extra snowfall helped a lot with coverage though it’s still a bit thin in spots, thus B skis. Slow going with fresh snow and glad there is more and it is rolled!

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Most, Rock skis ]
Skied most of the trails that are open. Most have pretty good though thin coverage, definitely a lot of debris and a few bare spots or frozen slush. West Amphitheatre is not good at all, I turned around. Most trails are overall good, but you probably want to use your rock skis. Thankful for the rolling!

[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
Most trails rolled Saturday morning. A thin layer of packed new snow over a hard ice base or no base. A few spots of frozen slush in some low areas. Northstar loop not groomed but skiable.

[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
Last week's snow has packed/settled down to about an inch or two on the trails. Still mostly good skiing, but thin coverage. The worst areas are the hill on Rudy's, parts of Big Ben, the paved Paul Bunyan trail, and by the large trees just before the field.

[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Trails were rolled with dirt and debris in some of the usual spots (spots on Big Ben and in the trail section along the road skiing to the woods from the parking lot). Overall good coverage. Not enough snow for classic tracks.
