The trails were groomed this morning with two classic track sets. Skate ski loop was also groomed near the shelter. Current conditions are excellent. With yesterdays snow, and high winds, expect some drifts along the trail.

With the light, fluffy snow and forecasted high winds staff are only rolling/packing the trails today Thursday. The strategy behind rolling today is that the grooves made by packer will catch the blowing snow and thus keep more snow on our trails. By keeping more snow on our ski trails we can (hopefully) extend their lifespan and maybe even ski longer than a week at a time. Groomers will be out Friday to set classic tracks.

We received about 4 inches of additional snow. Groomers were able to set two classic tracks with the skate ski loop by the shelter. Conditions are good!
