We were able to get the 2 Km loop cleared of the brush and over hanging trees this week. The 2 Km loop was groomed and tracked today. The ice on the trees looks like diamonds! The rest of the loops would make a great backcountry ski adventure.

Last Saturday, the trails were impacted by an ice storm with rain and snow. The ¼ inch coating of ice on everything brought down several trees, branches, and left trees hanging into the trail. The trails are impassable and not groomable, and we are lacking the work crews to clear the trails. We went out today to try and clear a loop or two, but the winds made conditions to dangerous to be out. Trees were still coming down, so we had to quit. We will try and groom a loop or two, but can't make any guarantees. The snow base is still good, so if you do venture out pick up some sticks on the way and it'd be a great back country ski adventure.

Beautiful sunny day for a full loop at this great Hayward area ski trail. Classic tracks were perfect, and skate deck was soft, but really fun for an easy ski in the woods. Lots of folks enjoying the trail today! Super fresh snow!

Groomed the trail this morning. Lots of snow to work in! Everything came out looking beautiful, especially the tracks. This afternoon the trail will probably be pretty soft, but should firm up tonight. Come on out and test the wax or just get a few laps in before the big race!

We were out on the trail rolling and packing the 5-7" of new snow that we received yesterday. No tracks set due to the amount of new snow that is still predicted. Grooming plans: We will be out early grooming the trail in Wednesday morning to get it set for the big week of skiing. If you hold off skiing until the afternoon it should be looking great out there!

Mukwonago received about 6 inches of new snow! All loops were groomed and tracked. I did a few extra passes to level out and pack down the softer snow on the skate deck. The temp was dropping fast this afternoon, so it should harden up. Enjoy these beautiful trails! There is a snowshoe trail here also.

Beautiful day to be out grooming! We had a powdery 1" of new snow worked into the trail today. The deck is leveling out, and new tracks were set throughout! Still a bit of debris mixed into the snow, but overall the trail is looking very nice!

Dusting of 1 to 1 1/2 inches of snow in the established tracks made for some enjoyable skiing. Was fast, with good grip, and smooooth! Just a couple spots I noticed that looked thin.

We had roughly 2-3" of new snow from over the weekend. Trail was groomed, and set new tracks throughout. If you can brave the cold, you will find the trail in very good condition with beautiful scenery everywhere along this trail!

The trails were groomed Friday and we had 2" of cold fluffy snow overnight for Saturday skiers. The new snow has been skied into the classic tracks and conditions are excellent. These trails are in rolling terrain but the hills are lower than the neighboring Birkie trail and they're laid out such that you can stride up most of the inclines. Its a great spot to get some lower intensity training in on some narrower well groomed trails. The 13.6 k loop out around Bulldog Springs is particularly nice with lots of fir and pine to ski through. The skate deck has leveled out with the recent snow as well but is probably a little slow with the new snow on top.
