Notes

The trail is located about two blocks West of Hwy 169 on Bass Lake Rd. Overall this is a nice little gem. The terrain is very gentle and seems an ideal place for a family with small children or beginner skiers.

Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Skied Pike Lake Trail. Start of trail by driving range is fair but after that trail is nicely tracked through the woods. Looks like Eagle Lake trail was fully groomed for skate and classic.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
Skied Pike Lake and part of Eagle lake trails. Pike Lake is packed only with no track set (It is classic only). Plenty of snow except at start where it is blown over. Eagle Lake trail is groomed for skate and it has a classic track. Again blown over in areas but I was pleasantly surprised to find it groomed.

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails: Closed, Rock skis ]
In search of crust skiing, I gave Eagle a shot. There were some tongues of snow bordering the fairways that had iced up nicely. A lot of thin spots; I wouldn’t recommend it.

Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails: Closed, B skis ]
I broke trail this morning around the East end of the park, along the driving range. Even the first track was nice. I should have skated.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ B skis ]
Skied Pike Lake trail. Had to park outside Park because lot gate was closed. Wet snow but plenty of it for the most part. Great to be out in October.
