Depending on the tree cover there was 3-4" of new snow on the trail (trail ungroomed). We were able to ski comfortably making our own track. Still needs some additional snow for groomers to work with and it is definitely not at a track setting depth yet. Every inch of snowfall will help!

Tried skiing the short loop this morning. It wasn't good. Conditions are honestly between bare ground and rock skis. Snow on the ground but not much. Definitely scraping on rocks and sometimes the glide caught the pine needles beneath the snow. Still best to leave the skis at home and hike.
