We had about 2” of snow on the trail today, not enough to groom, but enough for a few rock-skiers. We are not “Open”, as in offering groomed trails, but the trails are not closed to any form of activity at this time. We have electricians doing lighting restoration on parts of the 5K trail all this week.

I savored my first cross-country skate ski of the 2021/2022 season — and 143rd of 2021 — at Snowflake Nordic Ski Center on an inch of ungroomed fresh heavy, sticky snow with more falling. No debris on the trails thanks to groomer John Graham and crew. Now we just need more snow.
