Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
No grooming was performed today. The base is far to warm to groom. With cold temps tonight grooming is planed to start shortly after 7:00 tomorrow morning. Golf course will be groomed first. The PB should get to the old 32 parking lot between 9:30 and 10:00 with grooming complete around 4:00. 2 K of the gold trail on the far north end of the system Is closed because of a water issue.

Skated 0-5 km segment this morning. Skate deck icy with innumerable frozen ruts. In my opinion, not worth the drive from Green Bay.

Better than expected, worth the trip! Strided the trails between Mc Clausin Brook and Symthe Road in 38 degree temps. With the above freezing temps over the past 36 hours the skiing was slow. Carpe Skiem!

Classic skied the red, green and a portion of the blue. The track was firm and set up, minimal to no debris. I witnessed hoarfrost on the drive to Lakewood - beautiful. Thanks to the great job by the groomers.

Skated 0-16Km segments today. Skate deck level, 4-8 meters wide and freshly groomed. Firm pole plants. Diagonal tracks appeared excellent throughout. Kudos to groomers. Abundant snow will probably withstand warm weather. Pay your fee; maintenance creates overhead.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
PB was on the trail for 8 hours Wednesday. We finally made it to the north end and hills. We made 3 passes on the black and the hills are in excellent condition. Did not groom the gold loop as we have a water problem out there. We have an 8 inch base which should hold up through warm days.

Awesome conditions on a beautiful, cold day. Skied 30K+ on the entire trail system this afternoon, except for the far northeast portion beyond Smyth Road. (no tracks were set there). Everything freshly groomed--we had first tracks 90% of the day. Near perfect classic tracks (some pesky leaves and some places where the tracks stopped earlier than expected). My son skated on perfectly set new corduroy. Everything in awesome condition!

We skate skied from the the golf course to the top of the 12k hill. The skate lane was firm, fast, and flat with fresh cord over most of the trail we skied. The classic tracks were deep and firm. Very good conditions overall.

Fantastic conditions! Lots of snow! Our group classic and skated from McClausin Brook to Symthe Road. Well set tracks and a good skate deck throughout this segment. Given the amount of snow the groomers have had to work, the density was pretty good providing a decent pole plant. We really enjoyed our day. Carpe Skiem!!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Trail is now Piston Bully groomed to Smyth Road. Conditions south of old 32 parking lot in excellent condition. Conditions north of lot vary good. North should firm up over night and make for great conditions this weekend.
Crews will be out clearing the rest of the north end early next week with the hope of having the complete system open by next weekend.
