Started my ski at 9 am and conditions varied by the minute. Bullet fast downhills early, but then manageable later. Good glide in nice deep tracks. Did Woof, Valley, Crosscut, Rickles, and Hill Loop.

What a beautiful late season ski on the Watersmeet Trails in the Ottawa National Forest. Perfect conditions in spite of warming temperatures. Get out early and enjoy a great ski. Thanks Bob for the excellent grooming!

This trail system is located west of Watersmeet on Hwy 2 about 2 miles on the left. The trails are very narrow from easy to most difficult with lots of fun hills. The track was wonderful except all downhills were not groomed. Plenty of lake effect snow present with about 2 feet in woods. The trails weave their way Sylvania Wilderness with about 30km of trails. A true hidden gem!!

Got an early start and had first tracks on overnight grooming. Best conditions of the year at Watersmeet! Nice deep tracks and fast downhills. Get out there!

The 2-3” of new snow really helped the trails and Bob has the best conditions on this side of Gogebic County! Fresh snow in tracks with traffic made a really nice ski. Skied all loops except Danger Hill.

Just like the good old days! Bob has managed the snow well, and the trails are in very good condition. Branches have been trimmed back nicely so there are no face whips, but it still has that nice narrow single track feel. Love the braided sections of track weaving in and out of trees, splitting apart, and coming back together again. What fun! Thanks for a great ski!

Wow, every year bob does a fabulous job -- for over 30 some years worth. Beautiful Ottawa national forest. Thanks for always making these trails beautiful.

Trails were in great shape despite the modest snow depth in the woods. A few spots with some sticks, dirt poking through the bottom of the track but all such spots could be easily side stepped. Fun skiing old school single track trails on a bluebird, blue wax day! Kudos to Sylvania Outfitters!

Pleasantly surprised trails were in such good condition considering the lack of snowfall this season. A few minor areas with grass and/or small sticks coming through but emphasis on "few". Another great day on the trails! Thanks Bob for such a great job on the trails.

Bob has outdone himself in grooming in a so-far low snow year. Great to get out on freshly groomed trails.
