Good early season conditions. The snow is thin and there are some rocks and sticks. Some track has been set. The 700 meter manmade loop has been groomed and is in very good condition.

All but a few shortcut trails are groomed, but only the green loop has tracks. Skating is fast but not flat, with ridges from drifts not flattened out yet. Watch out for one exposed rock in the middle of the uphill right before Rolf's Ridges on the Heartland loop. If you're not in a hurry stop and pick up a few sticks from the big wind a few weeks ago.

The 700 meter man made snow loop has been groomed and tracked. The base is hard and the trails are in good condition. All other trails have no snow.

I skied the 800 meter man made snow loop at the Rock, it is the only trail with snow at this point. It was nice for skating but not enough snow to set tracks. The park staff also blew snow and groomed the upper part of the downhill ski trail so hard core skiers could do hill climbs in addition to the loop.

Plenty of snow! All trails have been rolled at least once but were still very soft, groomers were out working. Tracks not set yet but it was still early. Main lodge not open but bathrooms, lockers, and entry vestibule are open 24/7.
