The classic skiing was good. The tracks were not reset, but for the most part the tracks were good. There were occasional areas where the track was pushed out on one side, not continuous or didn't exist. Fully covered and very skiable. Some areas showed more traffic wear than others. The glide today was great! I also was on the snowshoe trails for a short time and the trail was fully covered and good. Will be even better with more snow.

Arrived at 11 AM. Temps were in Single digits. Despite the cold temperatures, it was a wonderful ski. Classic tracks were firm with small amount of skied in snow which allowed a relatively "fast ski" even with the cold temps. Scattered leaves were present. I skied blue loop 2X, field of dreams 2X and Wasrud loop 1X. The hilly portion of black loop has not opened yet due to some down trees. I did not skate but skating deck appeared flat and firm with corduroy.

Arrived early to 1" of new snow. Groomer was out grooming the trails. Skied blue green and purple loops, all freshly groomed. The black still closed due to downed trees. In all, full coverage and a tad slow due to fresh snow. Tracks looked very good and intact as well. A great skiing venue, definitely worth the trip.

Beautiful ski. Some sections were perfect, fresh corduroy. Other sections had a bit of debris - nothing concerning. Black loop mostly closed off. Seems like Morgan and crew are making lemonade out of lemons. Props!

All skate decks reset this morning. Green: Open, tracks set, A skis; Blue: Open, tracks set, A/B -skis; Purple: Open, tracks set, A-skis, B-skis in the woods. Black: JJ, Field of Dreams, and Big Dog are open. tracks set, decks are soft. A-skis. Grooming plans: We will continue to clear tree limbs on black today and tomorrow and hope to open all trails later in the week.

Crunchy snow with hard, fast conditions. Skate deck seemed thin but had great coverage. Most of the tree debris was easily avoidable. All the trails were open except most of the black sections. This was my first time skiing here and I was really impressed with the whole system! Great work groomers and trail crew!

A beautiful day at Iola, sunshine and suitably cold. The groomers have done a good job with limited snow and the skating track had a nice thin and fast layer of corduroy. Some tree debris however which needs more snow to cover. The classic tracks were very mixed wit a lot pine needle and leaves. Striding out of the track was good however. I keep looking for Jimmy Page on the Stairway to Heaven but haven't seen him yet!
