Our family skied Korkki just after the second grooming of the afternoon. The 10K was good - downhills fast - well-groomed. Not a lot of debris. The final kilometer was closed for flooding and re-routed so that the first 1/2K was two-way. Gorgeous day out there!

Magic! That is what we found when the Marshall Nordic Ski team arrived at Korkki for a long classic ski. The trail conditions were perfect, the chalet warm and the smiles on the skiers faces genuine. We skied for about 2 hours and then had chili and beet soup for lunch. I am a teacher so my assignment for an exit ticket was that each of the skiers had to write a meaningful comment in the Korkki log book.

Korkki was in great shape this morning at -3F. A couple college teams were doing training runs, so had the benefit of a fast, skied-in track. Fabulous conditions for this early in the year, and top notch grooming, per usual. Get out there.
