Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
All of the trails except the hilly portion of the green loop were packed and tracked today. Groomer Mike McFadzen took on a major snowstorm this morning and was able to pack and track nearly all of the Greenbush system. The skate deck looked soft as expected. The classic track was great and required much less effort than skating. It was a wonderful afternoon of silent sport. It will take a few cycles of skiing and grooming to firm up the skate deck and track. Many thanks to Mike.

Almost all trails groomed and track set. Couldn't do the green hills as equipment was getting stuck. Plan to polished up on Monday.

Perfect! Both the weather, and, the conditions. Lots of snow, it should last for a while. I did long long purple loop.

Always enjoy a visit to these trails while visiting family in the area. Joanie and I skated the purple and brown trails and strided the purple, green, and red trails, spending more than 3 hours here. Thanks to the groomer, who was refreshing the skate lanes and tracks this morning to provide a great experience for all skiers here today-excellent conditions!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All loops and cutoffs were groomed and new track set. I skied all loops after grooming. With almost no wind the classic track should stay clean for a while. All trails are firming up and getting faster.

Did the purple, red, and brown. Skate deck was soft, and with the frigid temps made things a bit snow. But everything was well covered, with only a few spots with pine cones. Safe for your good skis. Groomer was starting to go out about 2 pm. Good to get out here after a 4 year Greenbush "fast".

Greenbush received 6-8" of new snow since midnight. Jeff spent lots of time and effort packing all trails this morning. Skate lanes are soft and uneven as expected. Skied-in classic tracks are on most loops. Plan to continue grooming efforts tomorrow. Conditions are great for setting a classic track but it will be a while before the skate deck firms up.

Great conditions with recent grooming both classic and skate. Skied classic only on purple--whole way was excellent with no bare areas. Great job by groomers. Excellent whole way.

I classic skied the red, purple, and a portion of the green. Track was in good condition throughout and free of debris. The red had been groomed when I arrived at 9 am. Thanks groomers.
