Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Greenbush received 3 to 4 inches of fresh snow last night. Skating lanes were groomed on all trails. Classic tracks are still in tact and many are already skied in. Newly groomed snow is a little unsettled, but should set up well with tonight's cold temperatures.

I was disappointed there was very little soft snow on the skate deck. It was a hard and crusty and you couldn't get full push-off on most of the trail. It was alright though. Pink has not been groomed recently and has potential for the best conditions once groomed again.

It was a glorious day of skiing aboard the pain train at Greenbush! There wasn't a hint of ice and grooming was outstanding ahead of the youth races. Definitely bring your good skis.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All skate lanes were groomed today and the classic tracks remain in good shape from yesterday. There's a bit of debris on the trail from the high winds today. There is a youth ski race tomorrow between 10:00 AM and 12:00 which will encompass most of the trail system although the trails will remain open during the event.

Classic skied the purple and brown loops. Tracks are set. Snow is very hard. Some pine needles on the trail. Overall, good conditions. Be careful on downhills.

Great snow cover on all trails. Very hard and icy base. Hills are very challenging to navigate due to the fast conditions. Trails need grooming for better skating.

I skate skied the purple and red trails this morning. There is great coverage, with no ice showing. The purple trail is soft beyond the green trail cutoff. The inner areas of the purple trail is much more solid; probably due to the groomer passing over it more frequently as they groom the other trails in the system. Overall, pretty darn good.

Since Tuesday's 8-10 inches Greenbush has been groomed into excellent condition. I have classic skied all of the trails several times over the last two days, and our trails haven't been this nice for a couple of years. Deck is level, there is no ice, and all drifts along the marsh have been groomed. Skate deck is firming, tracks are deep, and I'm confident conditions will speed up over the next few days.
