Great snow cover on all trails. Very hard and icy base. Hills are very challenging to navigate due to the fast conditions. Trails need grooming for better skating.

I skate skied the purple and red trails this morning. There is great coverage, with no ice showing. The purple trail is soft beyond the green trail cutoff. The inner areas of the purple trail is much more solid; probably due to the groomer passing over it more frequently as they groom the other trails in the system. Overall, pretty darn good.

Since Tuesday's 8-10 inches Greenbush has been groomed into excellent condition. I have classic skied all of the trails several times over the last two days, and our trails haven't been this nice for a couple of years. Deck is level, there is no ice, and all drifts along the marsh have been groomed. Skate deck is firming, tracks are deep, and I'm confident conditions will speed up over the next few days.

Skied the purple loop. Perfect temps, afternoon sun, and light winds. Deck was groomed wonderfully, albeit soft as expected. Good pole plant though with the hard base below. Should set up nice for coming days.

We got 6 to 7 new inches of snow. The trails are groomed and tracked. I skied all trails except the black and brown. They should set up nicely tonight.

Afternoon

[ B skis ]
Trails were scratched up some more this morning, skied all the trails that were available. Jeff did a great job. Some debris churned up with the groomer. Surprisingly good in other areas.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
Trails throughout are icy. Groomers have broken and crushed the ice on the brown & red trails, making them skiable for skaters. The yellow and green loops remain ice covered and hazardous.

Ski trails are very soft. In order to preserve the delicate ski base please stay off the trails until lower temperatures harden up the base.

Lots of debris from all the heavy winds but good to see all the snow. Trails in general were just fine.
