Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Grooming the red, green, purple loop. Won’t be perfect but certainly skiable. The track is iced over but will soften up during the day.

Everything is in very good shape. I left about noon and just Was starting to get soft. Kudos to groomers Terry and Tony Who were out in the wee hours to make your ski a memorable one. If you’re starting to make divits, go back to the car.

Early trail grooming (5AM) Terry Knier and Tony Schwaller provided blissful skiing conditions on completely transformed snow this morning. All skate lanes were groomed. Classic track is relatively unchanged since yesterday, fast and glazed. By about 10:30-11:00 with the bright sunshine snow temps rose rapidly and became slow and wet in sun exposed areas. Best advice, try to ski before conditions get too soft. Grooming will get done when the trails freeze up again.

Firsthand: Classic Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The skate lanes on all loops and cutoffs were groomed with 2 passes this morning. Two passes were needed to cover some of the deep ruts and grind some of ice following warm afternoon and evening temps yesterday. The classic track remains glazed fast and firm also remarkably clear of debris. I skied all of the trails after grooming. The skate decks were very fast but manageable. By the time I finished skiing at 11:30 the sun exposed areas were getting soft and wet. If you're skiing in the afternoons and notice you're creating deep ski ruts it's time to head in and ski another day, and bring the other skiers in with you. We cannot usually fix deep ruts with the groomer once frozen. Hopefully we can continue to ski into spring.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
The purple, red, and brown trails were dragged. Still kind of icy especially the track, which we couldn’t do anything with. Grooming plans: The team will try to groom Friday through Sunday early morning. We’ve been seeing virtual Birkie Skiers every day.

What a wonderful trail network! Skied the purple 2x under the moonlight. Exceptional grooming. A little slick but that's to be expected at 8 pm on Wednesday. Thursday February 25th, my 3 daughters will complete their virtual Barnebirkie on the Brown loop. I will have lots of extra cookies and hot chocolate if anyone wants to join us. 6 pm will be the official start time Please holler encouragement as little skiers in bibs go by! A huge shout-out to everyone out enjoying, training, competing! BirkieFever.

Observation
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Most of the system has been groomed the last two days by Jeff. The track is glazed, can’t do much with that, skate lane is excellent. It will be groomed again late evening or early Thursday morning.

Tracks were solid and fast. Excellent conditions to complete virtual Korte. Appeared there were several doing so. Even heard a cowbell. Skate deck firmed as the morning drew on. Great conditions to complete virtual Birkie. Thank you for the continued grooming providing for great skiing experiences.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All loops and cutoff trails were groomed and tracked this morning. With light snow falling and temps in the low 20s it should be a great day for skating or classic skiing. It doesn't get any better.
