Yesterday's 2-3" were groomed, and everything was in fantastic shape today. There are a fair amount of oak leaves due to the winds yesterday and today, but nothing that's too much of a nuisance.

Great conditions, tracks in very good shape throughout. The groomers were just finishing up the skate deck on just about everything when we arrived. Enough groomed trails to ski all day if you add in the Cardiac trails, which are connected.

Washburn classic tracks are in the best shape of the season, and they've been good all winter. Recent grooming made the trails much wider, and the classic track switched to the right side in some locations where it was previously on the left. Debris is very minimal, tracks are deep and firm, pole plants are solid even where the track is in a new spot.

Skied here for the first time and have nothing but awesome things to say about this area. Grooming was perfect and tracks were fantastic. Can't wait to go back!

The trail was freshly groomed and beautiful. The track was good. Some downhills corners were tricky because the corduroy was so firm.

Sunshine and reasonable temps made for a terrific morning of skiing and the grooming was pristine and perfect. Most of the skating corduroy hadn't even been skiied on (the groomer was at work as we skied) and the classic tracks were firm. Lovely system of trails, well-kept warming shelter. This is a northwoods gem.

Light snow was falling off and on while I was skiing on the freshly groomed and tracked trails here. The tracks were full depth and firm. The skate lane looked to be excellent everywhere. Lots of varied terrain here. If you want hills, this place has them along with some easier and intermediate loops as well. Lots of the trail was two-way with one track. There was also a classic only trail and snowshoeing here. There were adequate here-you-are maps when I started the first few loops, but as I did more and got further away, I saw no here-you-are maps. I skied lost a few times, but eventually made it back to the trail head. There is a very nice trail head cabin with a changing area. Has new outdoor toilets. I'll be back here again.

The trails had all been freshly groomed and I was the first one out on the fresh corduroy. The skate deck was firm and speed was good. Control on the downhills was very good. This was my first time skiing on this trail system and I enjoyed it very much. I would rate overall conditions as very good to excellent.

Got out at about 1:30 pm. Trails were rolled since yesterday's 2" of snow, but the classic track was not reset. It was still solid and plenty of skiers had used it to clear it out. Fluffy snow around the classic tracks did gum up the kick a little bit. Beautiful coverage, beautiful day.

Had a nice ski at Washburn this afternoon. The grooming was excellent with firm tracks and fresh corduroy. All trails are in mid-winter shape with a level deck and no rocks or dirt to speak of.
