Trail Detail
Notes
These trails are located about 15 miles south of Munising and are part of the Hiawatha National Forest. Grooming is on a somewhat irregular basis, and trails (three loops) are rated easy to difficult. Described as very wooded and scenic, with more of a "backcountry" feel. There's also a rustic cabin for rent near this trail.Trail Reports

All trails are groomed and in pretty good shape, could use more snow in certain areas where it's a little thin but overall, not bad. I'd recommend skin skis due to Beech leaves out there and little maple whips poking through the tracks in some locations. There also are a few berry stems poking through. Furthermore, some dirt was popped up from the drag so be on the outlook for that.

All trails were packed and cleared. We received about 12 inches of snow over the weekend. Need a little more snow to set track. Expect early season skiing with no track set.
