Skied Blue Ox. Beautiful afternoon, 14 degrees, clear skies, almost no breeze. Good snow coverage; only a few weeds exposed, but snow not deep enough to get a deep pole plant. Good classic tracks set with only a couple of spots on downhill runs where tracks very thin. Skating deck did not appear to have been rolled at all, although skate skiers appeared to be zipping right along uphill and down.

A beautiful experience at Boulder. We skated all the skating trails. Here and there is some very low lying brush popping up, but the trails are fully covered. Everyone we saw had smiles on their faces!

Nice ski in the falling snow. Trails have full coverage. Watch out for the mess on Blue Ox. The wolves killed a deer and the entire skate lane and classic tracks are covered in blood, chunks of hide, fur, and stomach contents for about 25 yards.

Trails looked great. Could have skate skied as well although there was some fresh snow on top so it could use another grooming. I was so happy to get a nice afternoon of skiing before the temperatures drop.

Got in a quick skijor of Nine Pine at dusk. Good snow cover with only a small amount of stubble poking through in spots. The groomer finished Lonesome Grouse as we finished Nine Pine.

Skied Blue Ox, Nine Pine and Bear Paw at 11:30am. good conditions, a little thin in some spots with grass poking through. Tracks were a bit shallow with the snow over night. It was difficult to get a right pole plant on Nine Pine with all the ice under the snow. The new snow was slow but it was beautiful in the trees. A few other folks were out on the trails today.

Great skiing with about 4" of fresh snow, which was still falling. Grooming was just getting started when we arrived, and by the time we finished, most of the trails were packed and tracked. We skied the Blue Ox, Nine Pine, and Bear Paw loops. It was our first time on these trails and we enjoyed the scenery. Lots of huge red and white pines in some areas, and smaller aspens, birch, balsams, pines in other areas. Especially pretty with fresh snow plastering the trees. Mostly flat with a few gentle hills.

Trails were good despite a few thin areas, pine debris and grass and stalks sticking through. Base is solid with minimal ice and the trail is wide enough to navigate around poor spots. I was glad I gave it a try.

Skated most of the trails. A little bumpy but mostly great. I used my everything skis since I only have one pair. A few weeds here and there. Tracks were set and they were great too. Get out and enjoy!

Skated Bear Paw, Blue Ox, and Nine Pine. A bit of an uneven skate deck but full coverage. Some twigs and grass poking through, a few easily avoidable thin spots on tight turns. Classic tracks set throughout. All things considered, enjoyable skiing. The phone line grooming report said the single track trails north of the cabin wouldn't be groomed this year.
