Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
Variable conditions on the snowmaking loops. Not groomed overnight. Icy early, but softening nicely through the morning. Best stretches are where skier traffic has broken up the surface. Striding tracks are old and icy. Skate deck a little dirty in spots. Many skiers enjoying the trails and the Lodge on a nice Christmas morning.

No grooming last night, but the trail was softening and was quite good right now. Magic Carpet was holding up well, no ruts.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
I had the Pisten Bully out tonight and tilled the entire skate deck on our 2.5 K man-made trail loops. The tracks were left in place. Skiing should be pretty good again tomorrow even with warm temps. Happy skiing and Merry Christmas everyone!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
The Piston Bully was out at night. A new classic track was set around the outer man made loop. The classic track is marginal as the snow is warm. One pass was made on the skate deck and it should be in good condition. We need some cold weather and snow to improve the trails. Grooming will most likely be suspended if temperatures don't drop below freezing at night. If there isn't a report on skinny ski we didn't groom that night. Thanks for your patience and do your snow dances.

The entire man made snow area was open and great conditions. Temps were just above freezing so fast and not icy.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
All man-made snow loops have adequate snow for skating and classic. Snow makers were out all Sunday and Sunday night making snow, pushing it out, and grooming with the Pisten Bully. All natural snow loops are icy and only moderately covered, with bare patches appearing.

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
Excellent conditions for skate on limited trails this morning. A layer of fine powder on a firm base provides both speed and control. Classic tracks are a couple days old and looked icy. Available trails are limited due to snowmaking, but most of the hills are in play.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
I had the Pisten Bully out again tonight and re-groomed the entire skate deck on our man-made trails. The tracks were left in place and skiing should be pretty good again tomorrow. Grooming plans: Be aware that the Snow Maker will be out all day tomorrow replenishing some of our low areas and connecting the green trail. Please respect them and give them room. Happy skiing!

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
Very good conditions for skate and stride on the majority of the snowmaking loops this morning. A firm, flat base with a shallow layer of fine snow provided great skating conditions. The tracks, mostly left from yesterday, are straight and solid. Additional portions of the Woods Loop were available today after the spreading and grooming of newly made snow, however a 300-foot gap remains with only natural snow. Some skiers are skiing through the gap while most are turning around, creating two out and back segments on the Woods Loop.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
The Snowmaker's were busy making snow most of the day today. We are only a few hundred yards short of having our entire man-made trail loops completely open. I had the Pisten Bully out tonight and groomed the skate deck andreset tracks on all our man-made trails that are snow covered. We lost a lot of snow with the rain, warm temps, and those strong winds. We have full coverage, but not full depth at this time. Skiing should be really good. None of the trails off the man-made will be groomed as mother nature took all the beautiful snow away that she gave us three weeks ago. Happy skiing, everybody!
