Fair to good conditions for skate, less so for stride. Shallow base with an irregular surface, with some very good areas and some that are sketchy, especially in the pines. Only tracks are skier-made. Note that there is some rutting in the Start Hill from vehicles accessing the snowmaking well. Still, a great job by Park staff to pack and groom the trails, so get out here and enjoy it.

The lighted loop was groomed late last night with the ginzu. The upper trails are starting to get a little thin so those were left as is. There were no tracks set as the snow is not quite deep enough.

Good early conditions with the recent snow. Groomed but no classic tracks set given depth. Some exposed grass and debris but can generally be avoided.

All of the ski trails were groomed with the ginzu overnight. The skate deck should set up for pretty good conditions. No tracks were set yet.

All trails rolled today. I skied the whole park. Only skier set tracks. A little slow on new natural snow. Not very firm yet.

All of the ski trails were packed and rolled yesterday and overnight. Because of the temperatures, the compacted snow was not groomed with the ginzu and did not have tracks set. Grooming plans: Park staff will attempt to groom tonight.

Lower loop was rolled, not fully groomed and tracks not set yet. Fair conditions for classic, soft and somewhat sticky in spots. Plenty of snow cover. Trail appeared better for skaters. Great to start the season today with natural snow!

Trails are only rolled, no tracks set yet. Skate deck is is soft and irregular. Skate was a challenge but doable. Casual striding seemed to be better.

Trails are opened however they are only rolled and not groomed until tomorrow. This was told to me by the main office.
