Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
I had the piston bully out tonight and groomed, and reset tracks on all the man-made snow trails that will be open for skiing tomorrow. With the additional mother nature snow that we received again today, skiing should be really good on the trails that are open. Grooming plans: The snowmakers will be out most of the day tomorrow replenishing the trails that need more depth and width. As always, please respect them and be careful around the snow guns and gators. The DNR has been out rolling the trails off the man-made and I believe they are skiable with rock skis, Happy new year and happy skiing everyone!

Grooming

The Piston Bully was out again at night. The skate deck was tilled and is in great condition. New classic tracks were also set and should be in great condition. The little bit of snow we've been getting have helped soften up the trail. Grooming plans: Snowmaking we'll start up again on Thursday night and run through Friday night. Please give them room to do their work.

With the groomers report last night about good skate deck conditions I found out they were perfect. Not icy and plenty of loose snow for edging. I thank the groomer for the report as without it I would not have driven 60 miles rould trip. I hope they continue doing it.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
The Piston Bully was out at night pushing and leveling the newly made snow. The skate deck was tilled and is in great condition. A new classic track was set and is in great condition as well. I also rolled the rest of the lighted loop as well as the Purple Trail this morning. I would not recommend skiing these sections yet as they are a thin layer of new snow and a very icy base. But it should set up as a nice base layer if we get more snow.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
The Piston Bully was out breaking up the man made snow loops. The new snow mixed in well with the old hard packed snow. The skate deck is in great condition. New classic track was set throughout the loops and is in good condition but was getting drifted over as I groomed. Grooming plans: Snow making will resume this evening and run through Tuesday. We will have to touch up most of the man made loops to get them back to full width and depth.

Man-made loop was regroomed this morning with new tracks. Its holding up well despite the rain and warm temps. A little bit soft skate deck and not icy at all, nice skiing.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
The Piston Bully was out early this morning scratching up the skate deck and resetting the classic tracks. The skate deck is in good condition. Full coverage but it is getting soft. New classic track was set and is full depth but it does have an icy bottom. Grooming plans: We will not be grooming tonight. The snow making crew will be out later Monday.

Variable conditions on the snowmaking loops. Not groomed overnight. Icy early, but softening nicely through the morning. Best stretches are where skier traffic has broken up the surface. Striding tracks are old and icy. Skate deck a little dirty in spots. Many skiers enjoying the trails and the Lodge on a nice Christmas morning.

No grooming last night, but the trail was softening and was quite good right now. Magic Carpet was holding up well, no ruts.
