Recreation area includes dozens of small lakes and ponds. Trail system contains of three loops: blue, red and green segments. They may additionally groom Loop Road for skating.Trail Reports

From Lincoln County Forestry, Land, Parks: The cross-country ski trails have been groomed and a double track has been set on the Green Trail only. The trails are in Okay early season condition. Please use caution, as there is debris on the trail system. Please Note that swamp and bog crossings on the green trail are currently frozen and safe to cross.

I used to do a lot of skiing over at Underdown and went there on saturday to actually hike. But since I also skate ski I noticed that they had a lot of groom trails. But because of the melt off these trails are not skiable at this time. So please do not make the trip out there. They definitely need to be regroomed and not sure when the groomer out there does this but note that there is a great hiking trail there and even a fat tire biking that is allowed.
