This trail system starts and ends at the Vasaloppet Nordic Ski Center, located on the north edge of town. The Nordic Center offers a waxing room, showers, and a sauna and is open throughout the season. 5K of lighted trail. Snowmaking operations.

[ Trails Open: Partial ]
Conditions were good at the First Chance race Saturday. An approximately 1K loop was available for the event. Temps were warm, but snow base/coverage was good. Grooming plans: With colder temps beginning in earnest this week, the Snow Farmers plan to continue making and spreading snow to expand the 1K.

From the Vasaloppet folks: Due to unseasonably warm weather, there is currently no skiable snow. We will resume snowmaking when temperatures drop below 20 degrees.
