Great conditions - freshly groomed this morning. Setup fairly firm despite fresh grooming. Short skate loop looked pretty nice too.

So wonderful to be out skiing! Trails have been groomed twice in the past week. With the great conditions comes one negative. I continue to see skiers bringing dogs with them on this No Dogs trail system. The signs couldn’t be more obvious.

Good conditions, trail was groomed early afternoon. Enjoyed effortless glide on waxless skis with maxiglide wax. Pole plants mostly firm, classic track freshly set with a rare stick here and there.

Freshly groomed within past 24 hours. Could probably use good skis. Great conditions and kudos to groomers for getting out over the holiday!

Hasn't been groomed since the snow we got yesterday. Skied in some tracks broken in by other skiers.

Nice early season skiing. Good shallow tracks, very few thin areas. It was good to see the signs up and the trails ready to go. Thank you groomers!

Thanks to the city for rolling the trail last week there is still a good base. Fresh, wet snow falling in the morning covered any dirt spots. Uneven surface with some rocks poking through but fun early season skiing. Firm enough base for skate skiing and also a skier made classic track around the loop.

Trails firmly packed today. No tracks set yet. Used rock skis but didn’t hit anything and no ground showing through. Surprisingly very good conditions.

Snow is covering the trail. Skiers have set tracks but walkers and dogs are still using the trail. Signs at the start and every trail junction say ‘When there is snow on the trail, skiers only’. So this trail has not been officially groomed, but it would be very skiable if not for the walkers and dogs. Frustrating.
