They groomed and it is awesome! Of course there are spots that are slippery or sticky due to melting. It has a solid base, great tracks and a great excuse to go around twice before the season is officially over.

We skied Piedmont midday today and it is still 100% covered. Tracks are 100% intact, deep, and about 98% debris free. Thanks to the person who chose to walk on the ski tracks with a large dog, we could tell by the depth of their footprint, that we have at least an 8 inch base left if not more. Luckily the destructive walk ended at the first puff puff hill. You can easily use your good skis!

Fantastic spring ski. Tracks were at 50% from perfectly groomed (better than expected). Skate deck was very soft. Waxless skins skis performed very well.

Excellent conditions! A fresh layer of snow over perfectly set tracks. Base is still deep with no hint of dirt. Very little debris. Swix Universal Silver Klister (K21S) worked wonders in the afternoon sun with temps just above freezing.

The classic tracks at PIedmont are in amazing midwinter shape! Firm, deep, shape is retained, little to no debris! Drifting has occured towards the end but it is easy to ski it in each lap. The areas between where the track ends and the new one begins in some areas are like slippery concreted but the skate deck is firm cord in most spots. If you want a good classic ski, I'd suggest Piedmont...but dang it is super duper windy!

Icy conditions at Piedmont with the freeze/thaw cycle recently. Our scale skis had a hard time gripping on some slight uphill sections. I'm sure skins or wax skis would work better!

Light snow on top of ice tracks made for surprisingly good classic skiing. Oslo Purple was a little sticky but kicked well in the mixed snow conditions. Most tracks were skied in but not too fast. Very little leaf litter - nice clean trail!

15F. Overcast, no wind. The tracks couldn't be more perfect. It's like xc skier heaven. Tracks are super solid all the way around everywhere.

Excellent conditions in the late afternoon: clean snow, deep classic tracks, firm pole plants. Blue skies and about 21 degrees made for comfortable skiing. The sign on the tree summed it up well, "What could be better?".

Piedmont is in great shape. Firm tracks and great grooming. Couldn't ask for anything more. Get out and ski!
