Went out for a spin on the A loop and ran in to Connie who was out grooming the trails. We are very lucky to have these good people doing the hard work out there! The base is in excellent condition. I was told that very soon a classic trail will be open!

All the trails, yes all, have been gone over with the drag and or new roller with comb! And all the people rejoiced! haha. The base is really setting up nice and we are excited for the next snow so we can groom and set tracks.

We have worked super hard this week, encountered a couple setbacks, but amazing weather, and good camaraderie. All trail segments have been cleared and packed. Packed by snowmobile with many passes. What we did earlier in the week is pretty solid. And I did see a skate skier out yesterday giving it a go. Grooming plans: Hopefully Monday we can start leveling/grooming/tracking. Thanks for being patient while this beautiful snow sets up!

Forest Service staff have been chipping away at the Valhalla trails this week. Teuton (chalet) side is cleared. Valkyrie side, C loop was cleared yesterday and the plan is to clear the other loops today. Depending on how long that takes they might get to pack/drag/roll some trails today.
