We skied the A, B and C loops. 98% coverage but the thin spots are losing more weight. One long portage after the target hill at the end of the A loop. Big Lefty on the C loop was thin at the top, but was negotiable using the old one ski lift. The connector section was flying. Skied the Birkie Classic to the PowerLines and it was perfect. Taking the Skate back to the North End was treacherous as the trail was rutted up from the Fat Bike race. We put on at 10 and things were starting to soften around 11 30.

Great skiing this morning on the NE trails. The groomer was just finishing up as I arrived at 10 AM so the main trails were fantastic for skating. Classic tracks have not been reset for a while so they are getting worn and are icy fast. Still lots of great skiing to be found at the North End.

Very good day of skiing at the north end trails. There is lots of snow remaining and recent grooming has kept the trails in good condition. I skated in the morning while it was more firm and used classic skis in the afternoon when it was softer. The classic loop is generally in very good condition. Grooming and moderate temps should keep conditions good for at least a few more days.

I started this morning about 10 am. Conditions for skating are still very good. Trails were groomed recently but not in the last 24 hours. Enough snow has been worked up and there is enough traffic so that conditions are fast but with the exception of one or two downhills, not overly icy. No obvious thin spots on the A or B loops, which is what I skied.

The North End Skate Trail was groomed by late morning today. Conditions are great and we're going back for a second loop this afternoon! Tracks for classic skiing have been dropped on the edge of the skating trail and it looks like the single track Classic ski trail is currently being groomed. Thanks to the groomers!

Fantastic glide on the trails this morning! The trails had just been groomed. Skied North End circuit and part of Tony Wise Trail. Wise trail was not groomed today but only had light fluff which made for great edge. We skated but classic looked good - especially classic only trails. What a special trail system!

The trails are in fantastic condition. Maybe an inch or more of fluffy snow since the last grooming made for a little extra resistance training but awesome kick. Such a beautiful wooded network. Love the classic only single track trail.

Temps got above zero for the first time in a few days so I got out. At the North End, there is fresh grooming on the A loop as well as the full Tony Wise loop. Corduroy on those loops was laid down not more than a few hours before I got there. Also full depth, well formed classic tracks everywhere I went. The B and C loops had been groomed recently but not today.

Some training buddies and I tried to classic ski the main NE trails this morning while it was still snowing heavily but before the artic cold sets in. There was no grooming expected and none found. There was 4-5 inches of fresh snow on the ground while we were out and it continued to snow hard the entire time. This morning was a slog but there should be some great skiing once the groomers get out.

I skated out of the North End Cabin and mainly skied on the World Cup and Tony Wise Trails, I used the North End Ski Trail as my connecter. The trails were well groomed with very good coverage, the trails were level and firm and the tracks appeared to be in very good condition. It snowed the entire time I skied, the Cable area received about two inches of new snow by the time I finished up.
