We took the hard rockers out for a ski on the A loop. Pretty soft conditions and the snow was balling up on the bottoms. There is significant logging operations at the end of the A loop by km 51 on the Birkie Classic trail. Logs are stacked 20 + feet high for hundreds of feet. The trail was very rutted.

Bayfield county got about 3-5 inches of new wet snow last night. Took the opportunity to get some early season skiing in. All things considered, not bad for pre-Thanksgiving skiing! I used Swix blue for kick which worked pretty well and prevented icing. However, after an hour or so of running over ice puddles and skiing on wet snow, large ice chunks eventually formed on my kickzone and I was forced to call it a day.
