Notes

This is a remote trail that is groomed by volunteers for classic skiing that goes thru jackpine forests, black spruce swamps and over glacial eskers. A skier will probably see more tracks of deer, wolves and moose that they will of other skiers. A snowshoe trail is also starts by the trailhead. Located two miles south of Hellman's Store on CR 44.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
Trail was packed and trees removed this morning. In the open we have about 8" fluffy snow on the ground, but under trees it's less, and after driving a snowmobile and groomer over, it packs down to just a few inches. Will set a track when we get more snow.

Observation
[ Trails: Closed ]
We got some snow, finally, but not quite enough to set a track yet. Just a little over 3".
