First time here and it was a gem of a find in the woods. Just a gorgeous trail system with well marked signs and very meticulously taken care of. We were the first, and only skiers out and you couldn't ask for much better conditions.

Excellent snow and ski conditions today, and recently tracked. No drifting issues on the beginning and advanced trails. No other cars in the lot, met only two other skiers. Some trails tracked and not skied yet. Thank you, Al! We appreciate this lovely trail.

Trail is all groomed after the 11.3" of snow we received. It's in excellent shape except for a few drifted spots overlooking the Cloquet River where we got stuck grooming. Enjoy.

Joanie and I skied all the trail segments around midday after fresh grooming and tracks were completed this morning. Thanks for the great grooming! This is a fun and scenic trail system and you made this Madison-area couple very happy today.

Fabulous day of skiing at Mother bear. Tracks were freshly set, but was snow was still pretty soft. A fair amount of pine needles and small sticks were mixed into the snow. Loved the solitude of these trails. Used Toko spray on glider and Start Terva Black with a Terva Green toe pocket.
