Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The entire trail was groomed and tracked. The base is hard packed and very firm. The few inches of new snow leveled out well but the track did not set to full depth in all areas. Overall trail conditions are good to very good.

Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Classic skied all of the loops on the outer perimeter. Classic groomed trail in good to very good condition. Some of the track starting to erode with exposure to the sun and melting. Track was fast and a little crusty/icy, but still in great condition. Thanks to the Price Area Trail Hub for consistently working to make this resource available.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The extended period of warm wet weather created a very firm base. With 3-4" of new snow, the entire trail system groomed and tracked great. The trail should firm up and provide some excellent skiing.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The entire trail was groomed and tracked. We were able to flatten and pack the crusted snow. The track did not set very well, however. Skiing may be fair at best and expect the track to be slippery.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
Volunteers continue to make progress on trail cleanup after the rain and heavy snow earlier this week. The far north loop (Red Loop on map) has been cleared, groomed and tracked for classic skiing. This loop is in very good shape. All trail segments are open but this is the only section groomed at this time.

Afternoon
Observation Secondhand
[ Trails Open: All ]
Viewed the trail from the Hicks Landing trailhead. Two skiers had just finished skiing the north loop. They commented that even after the recent warm weather, the track held up well and was very firm. The dusting of snow since the thaw has really helped. In the open areas, the track was blown in some but was mostly visible and easy to follow.
