We got out tonight hoping to get the tracks in some better shape. The tracks are set in, but not very good in the hard compacted area. But some areas did get pretty good. Have fun skiing!

Cold weather made the hills very fast! There are tracks unlike many other city trails but be aware that there are quite a few pedestrians and dogs who have impacted the tracks. Overall fun and grateful to UMD for setting tracks AND looking forward to more snow citywide.

Bagley was holding up pretty well two days after grooming. I'd been skiing ungroomed city trails earlier this week, and it was nice to have a track. Thanks UMD!

Night
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
Trail is freshly tracked and walking trail is groomed. Tracks set in really nicely, grass sticking out in a few areas, but the field is super clean with lots of lanes to practice technique! I would be especially cautious for roots in the low area by the creek. And there is a bigger grassy area coming down the hill to the Bagley pond parking lot. Hope y'all get to have some fun skiing! Hopefully a lot more snow is on the way.
