Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Lots of wet heavy snow and high winds wreaked havoc with the trail again. Packing snow and clearing the trail of trees and limbs down and hanging into the trail took place as the snow fell overnight. All loops were rolled early this morning. All loops were leveled and tracked this afternoon, finishing tracking just after dark. Trail and tracks might be soft in areas, but hopefully will firm up well overnight. Some damage to the track on the first part of the yellow loop from a couple of hikers with dogs who were encountered while setting track. Expect some forest debris on the trail. Overall pretty good conditions.

Observation
[ Trails Open: All ]
The trail has received a couple of inches of new snow on an icy base after warm weather and rain this past week. More snow is needed before grooming operations will resume.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
I skied the Blue loop once and the Green loop twice for a total of 14K. Overall conditions I would rate as good to very good. The tracks had sufficient depth and speed in the tracks was good. Downhills were fast with reasonably good control. The groomers are doing an excellent job with the early season snow we are enjoying. It is much appreciated.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
All loops rolled this morning. Track set on Green and Blue loops. Just a few spots of thin snow cover, but overall pretty good early season conditions on these two loops. No track on Yellow or Red loops - these loops need more snow. Use rock skis and watch for rocks and roots if attempting these loops.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
All loops were cleared of trees and limbs and packed with snowmobiles while doing that work. More snow is needed for grooming operations to begin. Green and Blue loops are probably skiable with rock skis, but skiing is not recommended on the Red and Yellow loops at this time.
