Great ski. Trails look like they were groomed last night and so they have a little blow-over on some very small sections. Condition was excellent.

Recently groomed and in very good condition despite today's roaring wind. The connector to Tettegouche was not groomed but had been skied.

Greatly enjoyed this classic-only single-track trail during a 3+ hour midday ski. Grooming had appeared to have been completed yesterday and the trail was in great condition. There is a variety of terrain, with views of cliffs alongside Bean Lake and plenty of other views, including a grand panorama of the surrounding hills and Lake Superior from the trail's designated scenic overlook. A very fun trail system. Thanks for the great conditions!

Skied the outer loop this morning with fantastic conditions. One car in the parking lot at 9AM and about a dozen when we left. Half way through the outer loop we took the connector trail out partway to Tettegouche as the bluffs are so incredible to see! As we swooshed back through the woods and down the hills at the end I was silently cheering for the Beargrease teams as they make their way to the end of the marathon today. Just a beautiful day to be out with soft (safe) snow and wonderfully groomed tracks.

Perfect Minnesota winter day. Skied Northwoods to Tettegouche State Park. Really nice grooming on Northwoods. Connector was a bit rough and ready. Grooming at Tettegouche was...unique. Overall great adventure ski. You should do it.

This trail system is a gem, and had excellent grooming, nice to ski at nearly 20 F. Soft pole plants here and there more than offset by the quiet and beautiful woods. We also skied about 3 km up the connector trail toward Tettegouche and back, first time on that trail in a number of years. Palisade Valley is just awesome, and the pictures are from there. That trail is a bit rougher, but worth the trip!

Lots of snow, good grooming and great scenery made for a great afternoon ski at Northwoods. We started at the parking area, skied out the Palisade Valley trail a ways and then back. Nice to ski above zero. The narrow single track trails are a nice contrast to the wider trails.

Fabulous grooming on the Northwoods single track today! Everything was groomed, including the Palisade Valley Trail that connects Northwoods to Tettegouche State Park. We enjoyed a glorious 22 km ski from the Northwoods to Tettegouche Camp and back again. The views, as always, were life changing. A little bit of brush is present poking through on the Palisade Valley trail but nothing to worry about, easy to avoid. Thank you to the groomers for opening this favorite trail of mine!

About 2"of fresh, powdery snow fell last night and blew around quite a bit, leaving the more open areas with some drifting. In the woods the tracks were reasonably easy to follow and anything skier tracked was picking up some glide. Pole plants are hit and miss, especially on the more trafficked west loops. Oversized baskets are helpful if you have them. The trail has been groomed a couple times this week and has generally been in excellent condition, so wouldn't be surprised if they're out there soon touching it up.

Beautiful snow and grooming on these trails! Only saw two other people. Good place to ski while avoiding the howling wind!
