Mid-afternoon skate ski, excellent conditions. Skate deck firm but no ice anywhere (except parking lot, careful there!), easy edging. Ample coverage, little to no debris, no worries using A skis. Many thanks for great grooming.

It was great to be first tracks this morning after Jerry's excellent grooming. All trails covered with good snow base throughout the system. Classic tracks look to be holding up well.

Amazing, freshly groomed conditions this morning. The trail system is in great shape and firmed up nicely from the snow and warmer temperatures last weekend. Classic track looked to be in great shape too. Well worth the drive up from Milwaukee. Thanks Jerry!

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Skied all of the classic tracks this morning. Temps 29F. Classic tracks were freshly groomed and set up nicely and with a bit colder temps overnight, much better than yesterday. A few washouts in the tight corners and intersections but the straight sections were in great shape. Skate deck was firm with a soft layer on top. Not really fast but very enjoyable skiing. Used my skin skis with great grip on the uphills.

The Fox Hill microclimate continues to hold a good snow base. Jerry just groomed this morning and the trails are in good shape. A few ruts around the turns but good snow coverage throughout. Classic tracks look good.

Out at 9AM just after Jerry groomed (with Jerry's approval). Overall nice soft ski conditions - skate deck relatively firm. Good coverage. Tracks were set and firm. Mild debris but easily managed. Great to be out in winter wonderland today!

Grooming
[ Trails: Closed, Good skis ]
No plans to groom today with warm temperatures. Will evaluate and make a decision Sunday morning with predictions for below freezing temperatures tonight. It would be best for people to stay off the trails with these conditions.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All the trails have been groomed for skate, the classic tracks look good. The skate lane is fast and firm. If we get a lot more snow, so far about 1", the trails will be regroomed this afternoon.
