1/4" new snow overnight. 3/4" new snow total since last grooming. Pulled the ginzu groomer and removed most ski ruts and the pair of footprints with the exception of upper interior segments (not groomed). Still leaves and grass stubble poking through in areas.

Evening
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Skied Larson Lake for the first time today on classic skis. No tracks were set but good coverage throughout with some small debris poking through. It was soft on most of the trails. Skied the whole outer loop and the coverage was better there than on the inner portions. Was not concerned about using B skis for classic. Given the softness, I might hesitate a bit more for skate. However, someone had skated and didn't push all the way through. Thank you so much to the groomers! Been hard to find a place to ski.

Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
Skied the groomed Larson trail for the first time this winter, it was great to back out on the trails! The first 1/2 K is thin and a bit rocky in spots over the gravel road out to the second gate but once on the trails I was pleasantly surprised with the condition of the trail. I skated the outer loop and, yes it is a bit uneven, and there were a couple spots of either a rock or dirt clump sticking through, but easy to ski around. I would use B skis if available. Thanks groomer.
