Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We were out early grooming the 7" of new snow on the ski trail system. Conditions are very good. This morning we groomed Big Pine, Little Pine, Amperage, Lonely Lake, Overlook, Highlands, Ham Lake, North Star and Upper West End. All of the trails are groomed with a skate deck and a class track. The snow is grooming up really well and should provide a really nice firm surface. Hope you can come up and get out on our trails!

Amazing Spring skiing at Gunflint Lodge. Kudos to owner John Fredrikson for leaning into winter and grooming into April. Only a few avoidable bare spots and a skate deck of speedy corduroy. Take your skis out of storage and come up here!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We were out grooming the ski trails this morning. We got about 1 to 2 inches of snow yesterday and last night (not the amounts they were predicting). This morning we groomed Big Pine, Little Pine, Lonely Lake, Amperage, Overlook, Rabbit Run, Aspen Alley, Warren's Road, Cut Across, Power Line, Short Cut, River Run and Lower West End. All of the trails were groomed with a skate deck and a classic track. The trails are in really good shape for the most part. There are some spots where ice is flowing over or rocks are showing through, but these are apparent and easy to avoid. At this point Cut Across is in the worst shape and probably not worth using. Other than that, conditions are good. Grooming plans: We will be out this afternoon on working on the skate trails as well.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We were back out grooming trails this afternoon. It was great seeing people out on the trails making use of the extended season we are getting this year! This afternoon we groomed Overlook, Highlands, Ham Lake, North Star, Upper West End, Lonley Lake, Amperage, Big Pine and Little Pine, so the whole system was groomed today. Everything groomed up really well with a skate lane and a classic track on all of the trails. The temperatures look like they are favorable for the snow to stick around for a while, so we hope you can come up and get out on our trails!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We were our grooming early this morning with about 3" of fresh snow in the ground! It is still coming down, but we wanted to have some freshly groomed trails for our guests in house this morning. We will do more grooming as the storm system progresses. The trails groomed up really well and should help us extend the season for awhile. So far today we groomed Big Pine, Little Pine, Lonely Lake and Amperage. These all were done with a skate deck and a classic track.

Great conditions for March. Fast, frozen corn corduroy that was generally still easy to get an edge on. Full coverage with minimal debris. An occasional easily avoidable rock or water flowage in low spots.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We were out grooming again this morning. We groomed Highlands, Overlook, Ham Lake, North Star and Upper West End. All of the trails are groomed with a classic track and a skate deck. The base is holding up well and conditions are still good. There are a few spots where rocks are starting to show themselves and where creeks are forming some ice, but these are easy to spot and avoid. The trails should hold up well for a while. Hopefully you can come up and explore our trails!

Observation
[ Trails Open: All ]
With about two more inches of snow last night, we are leaning into second winter! We were out grooming the new snow in this morning. We groomed Little Pine, Lonely Lake, Overlook, Rabbit Run, Aspen Alley, River Trail and Lower West End. All were done with a skate deck and a classic track. The deck is firm and the tracks are deep. If you want to get in another weekend skiing on natural snow, conditions should be good through this upcoming weekend. We hope you can come up and have some fun!

We got about an inch of snow this morning do we were out grooming again. The temperatures were around 30 today and the new coating of snow tilled in to the base and freshened it up nicely. Today we groomed Highlands, Ham Lake, Overlook, Big Pine and Little Pine. They were all done with a skate deck and a classic track. With the base that we have, we should be skiing up here for awhile yet.
