The Banadad was groomed Saturday and we skied the west end Sunday and the east end (east trailhead to west of the Meeds Lake portage) on Monday. Solid base, nice grooming and a little fresh powder Sunday night. All excellent.

There is an inch or two of fresh snow on the Banadad Trail. We skied in a short distance from the east end. Conditions are excellent with snow in the trees and a great base. Some trail breaking would be needed, but the snow is soft and comfortable for a long ski.

The entire Banadad is open with a few dustings of snow since the last grooming. The trail has a 6-8" base with 12-20" in the woods and is a nice ski. The east trailhead has been busy and the grooves are in good shape. The west end grooming was damaged by skiers who skied beside the tracking and poled in, and between, the tracks and they had a few dogs. This part of the trail is usually partly damaged by moose and wolf tracks.

The east end of the Banadad is in excellent shape. This trail is classic stride only. Tons of snow, perfectly groomed, quiet in the woods.

East End Trails all tracked Friday afternoon. Too cold to get out on the main Banadad Trail. It is open but has not been tracked for a few days. We try to get out there real soon. Over 20 inches of great snow, over 12" base on trails.
