Surprised how much fresh snow we received out there. Trails were not groomed but fortunately we had 2 hearty snowshoers who made a skiable path for us. Snow was getting compact and wetter as the day wore on but such lovely fresh snow who can complain! Extra dose of exercise skiing in these conditions.

Wonderful old fashioned ski morning. The groomers hadn’t been out yet but we were able to see the previous tracks and followed those. Fresh powder made for a slow but beautiful peaceful ski.

I skied here - the truck tracks that I mentioned from a friend were fixed. The gate is up so that will it will hopefully not happen again. The inner trails are groomed - not the 9k outer loop. The trails are pretty thin in places, with dirt coming through on both the skate and classic track (though usually not at the same time, so you can avoid the dirt). The bigger problem is that the wind storm earlier this week blew down lots of leaves, bark, twigs and pine needles. Some places are good to B ski worthy, but others are most definitely not - tons of oak leaves settled in the tracks. I skied all of the trails that were groomed. Hopefully we will get some new snow soon, it's a gem of a trail and well-maintained!

I asked a friend in Minong how these trails are and he said that someone had driven on them with a truck, and wasn't sure if they had been fixed yet. There has not been much new snow, so it is likely still damaged.

Skiing was great and groomed! Majority of the ski trails are open. The further back was not. The snow on the trees are beautiful right now!

Fresh snow. No groomer yet this morning but easy to make tracks on the first two loops (about 7 kilometers). Third loop had no tracks.
