Notes

The trail system runs through a mix of mature oak-maple forest and open field skiing. The trail is located on the south side of the City of Barron, Wisconsin, just south of the High School football field. 3.3K of lighted trail.

Grooming

Gary reports that the grooming went well and the trail looks great. The skate deck looks perfect and he did set tracks. He did say that there might be some burn through spots on the tracks, so be careful with them. The snowshoe trail has gotten a lot of traffic and it is now closer to the lights than in the past. Bring in the New Year with a ski or hike around Rockman's Woods!

Rolling the very fresh and light 4 - 5" was more of an adventure than normal. The snow kept plowing up and preventing the roller from rolling. The plan is to clean it up on Wednesday evening with the Tidd Tech.
