Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Trails haven't been groomed for a week, but the tracks are still in nearly perfect condition and the skate deck is holding up well. The warmer temp today made for an excellent ski outing.

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Fantastic conditions. Despite the occasional hemlock cones and oak leaves, this may have been one of the funnest skis of the season. Grooming is always good, and today was no exception. Small details like lifting the track setter on the transitions and ensuring the classic track isn't set out in the brush and pickers put CFS near the top of the heap for grooming in the area.

Excellent conditions, a little chilly today but great afternoon for classic skiing. I wasn't trying to ski fast but the glide in the tracks was really very good.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
I strided all of the loops (and some of them 2x) to get in 25km. Everything was freshly groomed today so the tracks were perfect. Definitely not fast conditions (cold, new powder snow) but beautiful! Skate deck was firm, too.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Tracks and skate lanes were very good but there were stretches where the Tracks were filled with windblown snow. As I was finishing my outing, Adam was grooming with the PB (aka Skervald, from previous life grooming the Birkie trail), making it all beautiful again.

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The trails were all groomed early this morning. The tracks and the corduroy were beautiful and the skiing was fabulous. There's still several spots where the snow cover is thin but they are easily avoidable.

Received about an inch of new snow in the morning. They just start grooming when I left. Deep tracks and a firm skate deck. Very scenic!
